Chef and restaurant owner Ramiro Ramirez has been tossing pizzas since 1992.

From his start in Brooklyn, NY 33 years ago to restaurants in Manhattan, Raleigh, Wilmington and now Smithfield, he has perfected his flavors and is serving up some of the best Italian food in the area from Brothers Italian Kitchen.

Brothers is a family owned and operated business. Ramirez and his wife Maria, plus their grown children, can be found in the kitchen on any given day, baking up perfect pizzas, making sandwiches on fresh bread and artfully crafting their pasta dishes.

Their convenience store location might not be fancy, but their food has become extremely popular with the locals.

Their menu is made from scratch, using homemade techniques and fresh ingredients. From New York style pizza or classic dishes like chicken parmigiana, lasagna di carne, tortellini, calzones, stromboli, fettuccini alfredo, antipasta salads and so much more, you’re sure to find a new favorite.
